This moment, this time is but a dash in the two things promised, that I have a beginning and an end. I thank my agent of creation and the vessel He saw fit to bear me into this world. Siblings, friends and even haters have been my guides as encouragement for the things I should and should not aspire to be. To my daughter, you are my greatest inspiration.

More than anything, my friendships and family defined my life experiences. And that too, lies at the heart and core of the inspiration for my first novel.

To Eveliz, thank you for your patience, love, and infinite ability to deal with your mothers wild imagination. And for helping me hide my books. Always together forever.

My parents, thank you for giving me a crazy and loving childhood. Without the amazing memories there would be no book.

To Frankie, thank you for being a great and loving brother. Always arms open wide.

There are so many people I would like to thank. People who have most influenced my life: my parents and my craziest sister Selma, the man whose songs changed my life (Matt Bellamy from MUSE), Einstein, Debussy, Beethoven, my best friend since the kindergarden (Anel), all the important writers in my life who, besides my parents, made me the person I am today.

I would thank my parents of course who support me and my decisions in life. My number one fan my grandmother who obsessively dotes and worries about me every minute of the day. My grandfather who has passed away and its been ten years but he gives me a reason to keep living. My friends make me laugh everyday and pick me up when I’m down. And lastly my teachers who taught me everything I know and gave me the support and inspiration to pursue a career in writing.
