IF I SHOULD DIE theme song(s)

I listened to the IF I SHOULD DIE playlist several times, and there are two songs that stand out, both in 1. the lyrics being perfect for Kate & Vincent & the storyline of IF I SHOULD DIE, and 2. the music being the kind of thing I can imagine setting a Kate & Vincent scene to, if the book were a movie.

So there will be two theme songs for IF I SHOULD DIE:

Everything Good – by Ashes Remain (first nominated by Amanda Brown)
Keep Holding On – by Avril Lavigne (first nominated by Taliah)

both Amanda and Taliah will win an ARC of IF I SHOULD DIE!

Thank you EVERYONE for participating. As I listen to it, I will keep adding scene suggestions beside each song on this page. I love our playlist, and hope you do too!!

“Dark side” by Kelly Clarkson? if not please do its an awesome song and it feels like vince himself is singing it to kate.

Ok, I might just be disappointed because my song didn’t make the cut, but isn’t it a bit weird to supposedly write about France and not include a single French song?
    Sincerely yours

Rosalie – I did listen to that and really loved it. It just didn’t make the final cut.

Helle – you are TOTALLY right. If you look at the playlist for Book 1, I made sure to include a lot of French artists on that. But I think Book 3 deserves its own French song, so I’m going to try to find the perfect one. Thanks for nudging me on this! 🙂

    And Rosalie – THANKS!!!

I was reading this book and listening to the radio at the same time. I think you should listen to «Heavy in Your Arms» by Florence + the Machine and see what you think.
